Morocco is a coastal Arab country in northwest Africa. Morocco is located at the northwest end of Africa, bordering Algeria in the east, the Sahara Desert in the south, the vast Atlantic Ocean in the west and Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar in the north. It is the gateway from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. The land area is 459,000 square kilometers (excluding 266,000 square kilometers in Western Sahara), and the coastline 1.700 kilometers.

Morocco has a complex terrain, with steep Atlas mountains in the central and northern parts, high plains and pre-Sahara plateaus in the eastern and southern parts, and only the northwest coastal areas are long and narrow low-temperature plains. The highest peak map shows that Bougard Mountain is 4 165 meters above sea level, Umm Laibiya River is the largest river with a length of 556 kilometers, and Della River is the largest intermittent river with a length of 1 150 kilometers. The main rivers are Muruya River and Sebu River.

Historical evolution of Morocco

The earliest inhabitants of Morocco were Berbers. Arabs entered in the 7th century. The first Arab kingdom was founded in the 8th century. The Alawite dynasty was founded in 1660 and continues to this day. Since15th century, western powers have invaded one after another.

On March 30th, 2002, Mozambique became a French protectorate. In the same year, France and Spain signed the Madrid Treaty, and northern Moldova and southern Yvonne were designated as Spanish protected areas. Independent of 1956. 1August, 957 14 was named the Kingdom of Morocco, and Sudan was renamed the King.

1979 Morocco occupied Western Sahara, and its rights in Western Sahara have not been recognized by any country in the world, but the League of Arab States clearly recognized Western Sahara as Morocco's territory. Morocco believes that Ceuta and Melilla, which border it, should be its territory, but they are actually under the jurisdiction of Spain.
