Conditions for applying for World Heritage List:

The nominated heritage must have "outstanding universal value" and meet at least one of the following ten benchmarks:

1, a classic of human creativity.

2. It has a great influence on the development of architecture, technology, memorial art, town planning and landscape design in a certain period or cultural circle, and promotes the exchange of human values.

3. Provide unique or rare evidence about existing or disappearing cultural traditions and civilizations.

4. About the types of buildings that present an important stage of human history, or the combination of architecture and technology, or outstanding models in the landscape.

5. Traditional human settlement or land use, which represents one or several cultures, provides an excellent model, especially when the crisis is eliminated because of irresistible historical trends.

6. Events of great universal value, living traditions, ideas, beliefs, arts and literary works are directly or substantially related (World Heritage Committee believes that this benchmark should be used together with other benchmarks * * *).

7. Natural phenomena or regions with excellent natural beauty and aesthetic importance.

8. Remarkable examples of major development stages of the earth's history, such as records of life evolution, important and continuous geological development processes, meaningful geomorphology or geo-literary features, etc.

9. In the evolution and development of terrestrial, freshwater, coastal and marine ecosystems, as well as animals and plants, it is a remarkable example of ongoing ecological and biological processes.

10. It has the most important and remarkable natural ecological habitat of diverse organisms, including endangered animal species that meet universal values from the perspective of protection or science.
