In the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu, Gong Sheng was elected, and Xiancheng was elected in full. After the abolition of the imperial examination system in the late Qing Dynasty, Li and others abandoned stereotyped writing and found another way. In the thirty-third year of Guangxu, he raised funds to establish a private Chongyang second-class primary school. Since the founding of the Republic of China, Mr. Mei Yu has been the principal and director of education, and spared no effort to guide running schools. From the third year of Xuantong (A.D. 19 1 1), he served as the editor-in-chief for four times, taking charge of the overall situation and painstakingly coordinating. Sixteen years later, it was compiled and published in the 15th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1926), leaving a precious cultural wealth for future generations. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Mr. Mei Yu retired and lived in harmony with the villagers. Before Mr. Mei Yu died, Li Daguang, his favorite pupil, refined a porcelain statue of Mr. Mei's mother and husband, gave it to Mr. Mei and put it in the mourning hall. After learning about this, he wrote to her husband's grandson and said, "It can be seen that Mr. Sheng was praised by Sang Zi and thanked the working people." He also wrote a poem praising: "Looking back at the teacher's fifty springs, my remains are as good as new; I don't know that the righteous person is actually a shower head. "
