Brief introduction of Binzhou
Binzhou City is located in the northern part of Shandong Province, Lubei Plain and the hinterland of the Yellow River Delta, with an area of 9,600 square kilometers. Located in the overlapping zone of Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone, Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone, Bohai Economic Zone and Jinan Provincial Capital Urban Agglomeration Economic Zone, it is the north gate of Shandong Province. Established on June 8, 2000, with a population of 3.8 million (20 14). It now governs Bincheng District, Zhanhua District, Huimin County, Yangxin County, Wudi County, Boxing County, five counties and two districts of zouping county, Binzhou Economic Development Zone, Binzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Binzhou Beihai Economic Development Zone, and is the largest administrative region in the Yellow River Delta. 1 Binzhou has a long history and culture. It is one of the birthplaces of Yellow River culture and Qi culture. It is the central area of the old revolutionary base area in Bohai and the residence of the Bohai Party Committee. Sun Wu, a famous military thinker in ancient China, Yong Dong, a dutiful son in Han Dynasty, Fan Zhongyan, a famous politician in Song Dynasty, and Du Shoutian, the emperor of Qing Dynasty, were all born or raised here. 1 Binzhou has successively won the titles of National Health City, National Double Support Model City, National Advanced City in Science and Technology Progress, China Characteristic Charming City, China Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Environment Demonstration City, China Excellent Tourism City, Shandong Province Suitable Living Environment City and Shandong Province Garden City. Binzhou has obvious traffic advantages, with the Bohai Sea in the north and the Yellow River passing through the city. It is an important channel connecting Jiangsu, Shandong, Beijing and Tianjin, the only place where Lubei leads to Hebei, and a national transportation hub city.
