What are the famous scenic spots in Shuozhou, Shanxi?
Shuozhou, a young city, has been a provincial city for less than 30 years since 1989 was established. Shuozhou is located in the northwest of Shanxi Province, bordering Inner Mongolia in the north, Shaanxi in the west, Datong in the east and Xinzhou in the south. It has jurisdiction over six counties including Shuocheng District, Pinglu District, Shanyin County, Yingxian County, Huairen County and Youyu County.

Although Shuozhou City was built late, there are many scenic spots in its jurisdiction, including Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Shahukou, Chongfu Temple, Shuozhou Ancient City, Sanggan River in Yin Shan and Huairen Golden Beach.

Among many scenic spots in Shuozhou City, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda bears the brunt. As the tallest and oldest wooden stupa in the world, this stupa was built in the second year of Qing Ning in Liao Dynasty (AD 1056), with a history of more than 940 years. Although it has experienced storms, strong earthquakes and artillery bombardment (the bullets embedded in the pagoda can be seen), it still stands. It is made of bucket arches and column beams, which are connected by more than 50 kinds of bucket arches without nails and riveting. For example, the eaves of the cloister at the bottom of the tower are supported by 24 wooden columns. At rest, the load of each column in the lower layer is 120 tons, but the stone foundation under the column has no socket at all, and the cross section of the wooden column stands directly on the stone foundation. Together with the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, it is called "the three largest towers in the world".

Killing Tiger Mouth, also known as West Mouth, has a long history. In order to resist the invasion of Mongolian Walla, the Ming Dynasty sent troops to fight from this port many times. But the most famous thing is that in the most glorious era of Shanxi merchants, countless Shanxi people left their homes and opened up the economic and cultural channel between the hinterland of the Central Plains and the Mongolian grassland, which contributed to the prosperity and development of the "westward advancement" in the northern region for a period of time.

Chongfu Temple is a national key cultural relics protection unit, located on the north side of Neidong Street in Shuozhou Ancient City. It was founded in the second year of Tang Linde (665) by Wei Chijingde, Duke of Hubei. The main hall of Chongfu Temple is Tommy Hall, which was built in the third year of Emperor Xizong of Jin Dynasty (1 143). It has a history of more than 800 years and is very precious. The temple is seven rooms wide, 40.96 meters wide and 48 rafters deep, 22.438+0 meters. The temple rests on the top of the mountain, with a single eaves and a total height of about 2 1 m. The temple is located on a tall pedestal, 2.4 meters high, and there is a spacious platform in front of the pedestal, which makes the temple tall and magnificent. There is a vertical plaque of "Tomi Hall" under the eaves in front of the temple, which is an original of the 24th year of Jin Dading (1 184).

Huairen Golden Beach Eco-tourism Zone is a tourist attraction integrating eco-tourism, history and culture, Buddhism and leisure. With the story of "Yang Jiajiang" in Golden Beach as the theme, a garden complex with the themes of Song Liao War and Buddhist culture in Guo Chong Temple was built.
