The History and Culture of Doushaguan Scenic Spot in Yanjin
Dousha Pass, called Shimenguan in ancient times, is located 22 kilometers southwest of the county, which is the first dangerous pass for the ancients to enter Yunnan from Shu. The stone wall in thousands of feet was divided into two by the Guanhe River, forming a huge stone gate, which locked the ancient Yunnan-Sichuan passage. The rock wall on the west coast is engraved with big characters such as "South Yunnan is in a hurry" and "It is so dangerous", which is known as "the first pass in South Yunnan". The ancients entered Yunnan from Shu Dao, which was the first pass to enter Yunnan. There is a Tang stele pavilion, and the rock wall in the pavilion is the famous cliff stone carving of Tang Ziyuan. Yuan Zi was a famous calligrapher in Tang Dynasty. This Mo Yan was sent to Yunnan by Yuanzi in 794 AD (Tang Zhenyuan 10) and passed through Shimenguan. It has been listed as a national key cultural relic. On the east cliff facing Mo Yan, you can see the mysterious ancient tomb "Bo people hanging coffins".
