A brief introduction of the Welsh men's football team is as follows:

D The Welsh national football team, nicknamed "Dragon", was founded on March 25th. 1876.

The team went to Glasgow to face Scotland in the first game, and lost 0-4. In the early years, the international competitions were limited to the competitions between four teams in the British Isles, including the local four-corner championship, which won a total of 12 champions (five of them tied for the championship).

In June 2022, the Welsh men's football team participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Welsh men's soccer team started to participate in the World Cup from 1950, and 1958 advanced to the only final, which was the first time that four British teams advanced to the final together. Wales can only get the second place in the qualifiers, but in that year's Asian-African qualifiers, Israel's opponents abstained for political reasons, which made Israel miss the finals.

However, FIFA stipulates that no team can advance to the final without a match, so Israel and one of the European qualifying teams are arranged to decide the qualification to advance to the final as runners-up in the two rounds of play-offs between host and guest. Fortunately, Wales was drawn to represent the European region, and won 2-0 in the two rounds of the host-guest competition starting at 1958, and got the last ticket of the Swedish final.

The final round was included in the "C" group competition of Sweden, Hungary and Mexico, and beat all three group matches to beat Hungary and join hands with Sweden to qualify. Brazil, the final champion of the quarter-finals, was defeated by the young Pele with the only goal, 0-/kloc-0.
