Tianqi Temple in Feicheng City, Shandong Province
Tianqi Temple is located in Feicheng City, Shandong Province. In the thirteenth year of the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Mount Tai was named the King of Apocalypse, and the temples built for Mount Tai in various places were called Apocalypse Temple. Tianqi Temple is located at No.28, Section 4, Xiaodong Road, Dadong District. This is a Taoist temple. According to legend, Emperor Dongyue is an immortal who is in charge of wealth, fertility, the old, the weak and the sick, also known as "Apocalypse God", so the temple is commonly known as "Apocalypse Temple", also known as Dongyue Temple. There are mainly Yamaraja Hall and veranda; After that, there is the hall of the king of earth treasure, and there is a brake on the east side, called eighteen layers of hell. There are statues in the temple, besides Dongyue the Great, there are Tianqi Empress, Bodhisattva and Four Heavenly Kings. At the northern end of the East Gallery, there is an ancient statue sitting under the moon, where both men and women have proposed marriage and worshipped. On the east side of the main hall, there is a children's hall, which is a place for begging children. There are many ancient monuments and plaques in the temple, which record the history of building the temple and the list of the number of businessmen and personnel who donated money, which is of great reference value to the study of Shenyang history.
Tianqi Temple in Yuxian County, Shanxi Province
Located in Shangcao Village, Caoxia Township, Yuxian County, Shaanxi Province. The common name is Er Temple, and its founding date is unknown. The temple faces south, and there are 6 existing ancient buildings. The overall layout is the East-West Courtyard. There are three halls in the north of the West Courtyard, with a width of12m, a depth of 9m, and a height of 3.5m of owl tail, with a single eaves and a hilltop structure. The front and rear eaves are inlaid with bold and changeable inclined beams, which are simple to manufacture and extremely gentle to lift and fold. The whole building is a rare ancient building with strict structure, proper proportion, simple style and stable shape. There are halls on the east and west sides, and a stage and a mountain gate on the south. The east courtyard is the main hall in the north, the mountain gate in the south and the meditation room in the east. The building specifications are the same as those of the west courtyard.
Shanxi Xiaoyi Tianqi Temple
Apocalypse Temple (the fourth batch of provincial insurance). Times: yuan. Address: Zhongwangtun Village, Wu Tong Town, xiaoyi city. The date of construction is unknown, and there were many repairs during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Sitting facing south, it covers an area of 15000 square meters. The main buildings are the main hall and the music building, with the east-west hall on both sides. Daxiong Hall was built in the Yuan Dynasty. Five rooms are wide, four rafters are deep, and one eaves hangs from the top of the mountain. The top of the hall is decorated with glazed ridges and four rows of buckets. The four pillars of the temple are painted with mud dragons, and the east, west and north walls are painted with 16 murals, covering an area of more than 60 square meters.
Linyi Dongyue Tianqi Temple
Linyi Tianqi Temple, located in Chashan, Li Guan Town, lanshan district, is an ancient Taoist temple with a history of more than 400 years. The main hall is dedicated to the Emperor Dongyue, the East and West halls are dedicated to Yamaraja, the tenth hall, and the Lingguan Hall is dedicated to Wang Lingguan, the Taoist protector. On the southeast side of the temple, there is "Bi Xia Dian", which is dedicated to Bi Xia Yuan Jun, Niangniang and Niangniang. On the east side of the temple, there is Shuiguanyin. To the southeast of Bi Xia Temple are the "Five Temples", in which mountain gods, land gods, water gods, road gods and fire gods are enshrined.
