The development of history

In the 28th year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (740), Wuyuan County was established in Yu Hui Town of Xiuning County and Huai Jin Town of Leping County, which was named after Wujiang River (now upstream of Le 'an River) surrounded by the city on three sides.
