1, Tianjin is a coastal city in northern China, referred to as Tianjin for short, which means the ferry that the son of heaven passes through, also known as Jingu and Jinmen. Tianjin began with the opening of the Grand Canal in Sui Dynasty (AD 58 1-6 18). 1949 after the founding of new China, Tianjin, as a municipality directly under the central government, has developed its economic construction and social undertakings in an all-round way.

Tianjin used to be an ocean, and the remains of whales, dolphins and other marine animals and a wide variety of shells can still be found underground.

Tianjin began with the opening of the Grand Canal in Sui Dynasty (AD 58 1-6 18). In the ninth year of Yongzheng (173 1), Tianjin was promoted to Tianjin Prefecture, which governed six counties and one state. From the second year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1404) to A.D. 20 14, Tianjin was founded in 6 10.

4. 1860 After Tianjin was turned into a trading port, western powers set up concessions in Tianjin one after another, and Tianjin became the frontier of China's northern opening and the base of modern China's "Westernization" movement.
