1844, Penfolds Winery was officially founded by Dr. Christopher Penfolds and his wife at Mager Manor. 1870, in the early stage of Penfolds, medicinal liquor and fortified wine were brewed successfully.
1870, Dr. Christopher's wife Mary took over Penfolds Winery. 1907, Mary's daughter Georgina made a policy that continues to this day, constantly innovating in wine brewing technology. From 65438 to 0948, Max Schubert became the first chief winemaker in the history of Penfolds.
195 1 year, Max Schubert was inspired by the French wine cellar and completed his first experimental creation of Gransch wine. 1957, Gramsch was questioned by senior management, and Max Schubert was ordered to stop the project.
