The Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Medical College was established in the former site of 1973 Hebei Hospital. 1In August, 1994, Tianjin Medical College was renamed the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University. The hospital covers an area of 86,433 square meters, with a building area of 5 1880 square meters and a medical building area of 42,075 square meters. At present, there are employees 1594. Among them, there are professional technicians 1393, accounting for 86% of the total number of employees in the hospital, and senior titles 194 (including 5l senior titles and 43 deputy senior titles/kloc-0). There are 600 intermediate titles and 599 junior titles, and the hospital has complete disciplines and departments. At present, there are 38 clinical medicine departments, teaching and research section 13, which is the first batch of third-class first-class hospitals approved by 1993.
