First, Jin opera
Shanxi Opera, also known as Shanxi Zhonglu Bangzi and Taiyuan Bangzi, was named after liberation and is the main local opera in Shanxi. During Daoguang and Xianfeng years in Qing Dynasty, Jin Opera absorbed the musical elements of Pu Opera, Kunqu Opera and Hebei Bangzi on the basis of Jinzhong Yangko, formed its own artistic style, and gradually developed and became popular.
Second, Pu Opera.
Pu Opera is also called Lu Nan Bangzi and Zhou Pu Bangzi. People in southern Shanxi also call it a random bomb. It is the oldest four Bangzi operas in Shanxi Province. Ming Jiajing period has basically formed, divided into west road and south road. Zhou Pu Bangzi has a high pitch and is good at expressing generous and tragic historical stories. Music and performing arts have a deep tradition, especially special effects such as hat wings, feathers and hair tossing.
Third, North Road Bangzi
Beilu Bangzi is one of the four major Bangzi operas in Shanxi. Popular in the northwest of the mountain, Inner Mongolia and Hebei, it was formed in the middle of16th century.
Fourth, take the party bangzi.
Shangdang Bangzi is popular in Changzhi and Jincheng in the southeast of Shanxi. Shangdang Bangzi mainly sings Bangzi Opera, and also sings Kunqu Opera, Pihuang Opera, Luoluo Opera and Xi Juan Opera, commonly known as Kunqu Opera and Luo Juan Opera. Its sonorous and lively timbre is characterized by rough and healthy peasant art.

There are as many as sixteen kinds of Yangko operas widely distributed in Shanxi. In terms of musical singing, these yangko operas are not one type, some are folk songs, some are early banqiang, and some have been accompanied by stringed instruments.
