In 196 1 year, Du Shigong commune and Henggang commune were established by Tao Sha commune and Zhangxiang commune, and merged into Du Shigong commune in 1964.

In the same year, the names of the brigade and production team were changed to 12. 1in July, 983, the brigade was changed into a village, a villagers' committee was established, and the production team was changed into a villagers' group. 1in April, 984, the county held a general election, and Du Shi Gong She was changed to Du Shi Xiang People's Government, which was subordinate to Du Shi District. 1March, 1994, withdraw from the district to build a township, and withdraw from Dushi Town. The town government is located in the seat of Dushi District Government, and governs the original Dushi Township and Xinchang Township 18 villages. 1997, with an area of 90.6 square kilometers and a population of 27,000, governs administrative villages such as Longfeng, Meiwan, Pinglu and Hu Jia.
