Wang bian (562 ~ 6 17), whose name is Jinglue, was born in Shimen angou, Luonan County. My grandfather is from Pucheng, Shaanxi, and he is in business. During the Western Wei Dynasty, it subsidized military provisions many times and was named the magistrate of Qinghe County. Wang Bian liked reading art books when he was young, and was good at riding and shooting. He joined the army as an adult. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, he repeatedly made meritorious military service and awarded the commander-in-chief. After Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty unified China, he was promoted to viceroy. In the 13th year of the Great Cause (6 17), Wang Bian led Sui Jun to fight the rebel Shimei in Luokoucang (now northeast of Gongxian County, Henan Province). At that time, the periphery of Shimi rebels had been breached. Unexpectedly, the king beat the drums, and Shi Mi led the army to fight back and suffered a heavy defeat. Wang bian led the disabled soldiers to retreat to the bank of Luoshui, and waded into the river because of the broken bridge, which was pulled down by the rebels in the water. The rebels of Shimi attacked again.
