This film is one of a series of films directed by John Woo, and produced by Zhang Ziyi, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Huang Xiaoming and Song Huijing. The movie Taiping Wheel (I) is based on the chaotic situation in the 1940s, and tells the love story of three lovers across the times. The film is scheduled to be released in China on February 2, 20 14. The film finally made 200 million yuan at the box office.
