By the Ming Dynasty, Dalingtou Village had become a prosperous commercial and handicraft gathering place, and was famous for making bamboo weaving techniques and tea sets. In the Qing Dynasty, the economy and culture of Dalingtou village were further developed and became an important local economic center. In addition, Dalingtou Village also played an important role in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and contributed to the anti-Japanese national united front.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Dalingtou Village experienced a series of reforms and development, and gradually moved towards modernization.
