The history of Lianhua Mountain in Chenghai
Chenghai Lianhua Mountain also provided water for people who crossed the ocean by the "red-headed boat" that year. The "Jingzai Spring" under the cliff slope is called Xiangquan because its source flows out from Xiangshan. It is one of the four famous springs in Chenghai District, including the dragon, tiger and lion elephant. Because of its shape, Zhang Lin people call it "Jingzai Spring". According to the introduction of local elders, Jingzi Spring was the lifeblood of "Red-headed Ship" in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Almost everyone who crossed the ocean by "red-headed boat" from Zhanglingu Port has tasted the spring in Jingzi. At the end of Qing Dynasty, there were several large water tanks in front of Tianhou Palace in Zhang Lin, which were specially used for well water. Bottled by overseas Chinese who go abroad to make a living or return home to visit relatives, so that relatives can taste the water in their hometown together. In order to commemorate this period of history, Qin Mu, a famous writer born in Zhanglingu Port, once wrote a poem: "Wan Li wears a swallow, loves Laozhi at home, and his hometown is a sweet well. Where do you miss home?"
