"Kuznetsov" has a total length of 306.3 meters, a waterline of 279.9 meters, a width of 73 meters, a draft of 9.87 meters, a standard displacement of 53,000 tons, a full displacement of 65,000 tons and a maximum displacement of 66,000 tons. The power station consists of four steam turbines with a total power of 200,000 HP and a maximum speed of 29 knots. The "Kuznetsov" ship is loaded with powerful air defense firepower. The main force is four SA-N-9 vertical launching air defense missiles, each missile has six launching units, and each unit has eight bombs, with a total of 192 bombs and a range of 15km. As an anti-submarine weapon, the ship is equipped with 1 RBU- 12000 ten-combined rocket depth-bomb launchers on both sides of the stern, with a range of 12000 meters. Its electronic equipment includes: 1 sky sentry phased array radar, 1 MR-7 10 "roof" three-coordinate air/sea radar; Two Mr-320m "double-support" maritime radars; Four Mr-360 cross sword fire control radars are used in SA-N-9; 8 3P37 "hot flash" fire control radars for SA-N-11; 1 "cake table" tactical air navigation radar. The electronic countermeasure equipment is "barrel" and "clock" series, with two PK-2 and 10 PK- 10 jamming chaff transmitters.

The steam power is changed to nuclear power, and an ejector is installed on the basis of maintaining the original sliding mode.
