Linyi, Shandong Province, formerly known as Langya and Yizhou, is the core birthplace of Dongyi culture. As early as 200,000 years ago, human ancestors created an ancient civilization in Yimeng. It has a history of more than 3,000 years since the founding of the Western Zhou Dynasty. This area has long been the seat of Xuzhou Cishi, Langya County, Donghai County and Yizhou Prefecture.
The use history of Langya name
The Qin dynasty was unified and the local county system was implemented. Linyi belongs to Langya County and Yong County. In the Western Han Dynasty, in order to avoid Emperor Liu Qi, Kaiyang City was renamed Kaiyang and Kaiyang County was established. When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty established thirteen counties, Tan County in Linyi was under the jurisdiction of Xuzhou. Linyi area belongs to Langya Prefecture in Xuzhou, Donghai County, Chengyang Prefecture and Taishan County in Yanzhou.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Langya County was changed to Langya State, and Liu Jing, the son of Guangwudi, moved Langya State to Kaiyang, hence the name Langya. Linyi area belongs to Licheng County, Donghai County, Langya County and Langya County of Xuzhou and Taishan County, Dongguan County, Dong 'an County and Chengyang County of Yanzhou.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Kaiyang was always the capital of Langya, and was named the King of Langya. Linyi belongs to the state of Wei. By the end of Wei Dynasty, it belonged to Donghai, Langya, Dongguan and Taishan. The Zhuge family in Langya Yang Du is divided into three countries, and its family culture has become an important part of China's excellent traditional culture.
