In July, 20001year, Taian municipal government optimized the allocation of municipal higher education resources, and five local universities, including Taian TV University, merged to form Taishan College and moved to a new location to run schools. As an organic part of Taishan University, Tai 'an Radio and TV University is called "Teaching Department of Taishan University Radio and TV University" internally and "Tai 'an Radio and TV University" externally after the merger of resources. It accepts the guidance and management of power-saving university in business, and assumes the responsibility of business guidance and management for county, city and district TV universities.
