This architectural practice is extremely rare in ancient architecture, and it was a high-grade wooden pavilion in Tianjin at that time. There are many murals painted on the walls around the temple, carved beams and painted buildings, which are lifelike.
Later, due to years of disrepair, the building of Yuhuang Pavilion was in a state of disrepair, with all 14 eaves columns in the wall decayed, the upper and lower eaves were severely deformed, and the tile roof tiles and ridge ornaments were damaged.
The gray back of the roof is cracked, the rain leaks seriously, the oil-decorated floor has peeled off, and the indoor and outdoor color paintings are old and difficult to distinguish, which has lost the role of protecting wooden components and beautifying buildings. The floor, desktop, walls, floors and railings are damaged to varying degrees.
Therefore, according to the plan of "repairing the old as before and restoring the original appearance", the court used the original building materials and restored some parts with severe wind and rain erosion to the maximum extent according to historical materials.
