Competition festival

The Yi People's Clothing Festival in Zhonghe Township, Yongren County, Yunnan Province is commonly known as the "Clothing Festival". In order to inherit this beautiful, magical and attractive legend, the Yi people put on their own hand-embroidered new clothes on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year, and went to Zhimao to gather, sing and dance, imitating them to find the right person. In this way, it has been passed down from generation to generation, forming a traditional Yi costume festival. From 65438 to 0987, Mark Baender, an American cultural and educational expert, came all the way to Zhimao to attend the costume festival. After returning home, he enthusiastically wrote "Shooting Pigs-Tiger Man with Bronze Guns" and introduced the grand occasion of the costume festival overseas. Every year, there are Yi costume competitions, ethnic and folk sports competitions, torch carnival nights, folk songs, Yi cultural heritage, Bimo performances, and rushing to the mountain street.
