The Historical Evolution of Wuning County
Wuning county was officially established in the fourth year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 199). Before the establishment of the county, there were four counties, Ai, Hai Soul, Jianchang and An, which were divided and combined frequently.

Wuning was the territory of Ai Hou in Shang Dynasty (about16-65438 BC+0 1 century BC), and Ai was the territory of Wu, Yue and Chu successively.

Qin unified the whole country (22 BC1), and implemented the county system, which divided the whole country into 36 counties, and set up Jiujiang County in Huainan, covering the area of Jiangxi.

Ai belongs to Jiujiang County.

In the fourth year of Emperor Gaozu (203 BC), the Qin Dynasty was destroyed, and Jiujiang County was changed to Huainan. Ying Bu was named King of Huainan and Ai belonged to Huainan.

In the sixth year of Emperor Gaozu (20 1 BC), the Qin county was too big, and the county administration was increased. Jiangxi builds a county, and Ai belongs to it.

In the third year of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty (BC 154), Haihun was located in Ai area, belonging to two of the eighteen counties in the county.

Ai repairs bronze drums for today, and the sea repairs faintness for today, Anyi, Fengxin, Jing 'an and Wuning.

Haihuncheng was built in Fengxin, then moved to Yongxiu County, and has sunk in Poyang Lake.

Wang Mang usurped the Han Dynasty and was called Xin Mang (AD 9).

In the 16th year of Han Yongyuan (A.D. 104), Jianchang was set up from the sea.

In the fourth year of Jian 'an (A.D. 199), the Three Kingdoms stood firm and Jiangxi returned to Wu.

Add counties, draw Xi 'an county from Haifa and Jianchang, and govern the county in Xi 'an, high urban and rural areas (that is, Du Shi Xinfeng today).

It has jurisdiction over sixteen counties, including Ai, Haifaint Hou, Jianchang and An.

In the first year of Jin Taikang (AD 280), Xi 'an was renamed Yuning.

In the third year of Yongding (A.D. 559), Chen of the Southern Dynasties established Yuning County in Yuning County, which governed five counties: Ai, Yongxiu, Jianchang, (now Fengxin) and Yuning.

Great changes have taken place in administrative divisions after the reunification of the whole country in Sui Dynasty.

In the ninth year of Emperor (AD 589), Emperor Wendi ordered the merger of provinces and counties, canceled Yuning County, and merged Yongxiu, Yuning, Ai into Jianchang County, which was subordinate to Hongzhou General Political Department.

In the third year of Yang Di's great cause (AD 607), Hongzhou was changed to Zhang Yu County, and Jianchang belonged to it.

The Tang Dynasty inherited the Sui system and made new development at the same time.

There are ten state-owned roads in junior high schools in Tang Dynasty, and Jiangxi belongs to Jiangnan Road.

In 733, it was divided into fifteen roads, and Jiangxi was divided into two roads. Jiangnan West Road, referred to as Jiangxi for short, governs eight states and thirty-seven counties and belongs to Jianchang.

In the fourth year of Chang 'an in Wuhou (AD 704), Jianchang established Wuning County, and the county seat was still in Xi 'an, hence the name Wuning County.

In the first year of Zongrui Jingyun (AD 7 10), Wuning was changed to Yuning, and the county seat was moved from Xi 'an to Xinxian (now Du Shi is new).

In the fourth year of Tianbao in Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (AD 745), the county seat was moved from Xinxian to Qinyu Mountain (that is, the ancient town, the old county seat).

In the first year of Daizong Baoying (AD 762), Yuning was renamed Wuning to avoid Daizong taboo (Daizong name was Li Yu).

In the 16th year of Zhenyuan (AD 800), Wuning eight townships (Gao, Chong, Feng, Wu, Ren, An and Tai) were placed under Ningxian (now Xiushui and Tonggu).

In the first year of Yuanxing in the Southern Tang Dynasty (AD 937), a part from the south of Nanzhujiashan to Tiemenkou in Wuning County was set aside, and the place set aside with Jianchang and Fengxin counties was set up in Jing 'an County, which was under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan West Road.

In Song Dynasty (AD 960- 1279), the counties in Jiangxi were under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan East Road and Jiangnan West Road respectively, and the setting of counties was basically stable.

Wuning belongs to Hongzhou and is under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan West Road.

In the Yuan Dynasty, the provincial system was implemented. Jiangxi was called "Zhongshu Jiangxi Province", and the provincial level was "land". Wuning was originally Longxing Road.

In the 21st year of Zhiyuan (AD 1284), Longxing was changed to Longxing.

In the 23rd year of Zhiyuan (A.D. 1286), Ningzhou, Xiawuning and Fenning counties were established in Wuning.

In the fifth year of Dade (AD 130 1), Fenning was renamed Ningzhou, and Wuning belonged to Longxing Road.

In the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1368- 1644), the province of Zhongshu was abolished, and it was first changed to "Dewey in Jiangxi" and then to "High Command".

In the ninth year of Hongwu (1376), he was called "the minister of the household department" and diverted to yamen.

Longxing Road was originally Hongdu House, followed by Nanchang House the following year, and Wuning was under the jurisdiction of Nanchang House.

The Qing Dynasty (A.D.1644-1911) inherited the organizational system of the Ming Dynasty, and later changed the political department to a province, and Wuning was still under the jurisdiction of Nanchang Prefecture.

The Republic of China was founded (A.D. 19 12), and Wuning was directly under the jurisdiction of the Governor's Office in Jiangxi.

In the third year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 14), there were four governors in Jiangxi Province, Wuning belonged to Xunyang Road, and the Daoyin Department set up Jiujiang.

15 (A.D. 1926), the National Revolutionary Army regained Jiangxi, abandoned the road, and was directly under the jurisdiction of Wuning.

In AD 2 1 year (AD 1932), Jiangxi was once divided into county party, government and army committees, and the district committee was stationed in Xiushui, and Wuning belonged to it.

Soon, the province was designated as thirteen administrative regions with a chief executive. Wuning is the second administrative region (Wuning, Yongxiu, Jing 'an, Fengxin, Xiushui and Tonggu counties), and the chief executive is stationed in Wuning.

In the 24th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1935), the number of administrative inspectors was reduced in eight administrative regions of the province. Wuning is the first administrative inspector district (counties under its jurisdiction: Wuning, Yongxiu, Jing 'an, Fengxin, Xiushui, Tonggu, Anyi, Nanchang, Jinxian and Xinjian), and administrative inspectors are stationed in Wuning.

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1937), the Political Bureau of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Border Region was re-established in four places, among which Jiugongshan District was established in June of 1 year, and its director was stationed in Wuning, and it was abolished in June of the following year 1 year.

In March of the 28th year of the Republic of China (AD 1939), Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, fell, and the counties in northern Jiangxi were occupied by the Japanese army. The whole province is designated as the 1 1 administrative supervision area, and Wuning is the first administrative supervision area (under the jurisdiction of Wuning, Xiushui and Tonggu counties), which is stationed in Tonggu.

In August of 3 1 year (A.D. 1942), the whole province was divided into nine administrative supervision areas, with Wuning as the ninth administrative supervision area (counties under its jurisdiction: Wuning, Ruichang, Jiujiang, De 'an, Xing Zi, Yongxiu, Jing 'an, Fengxin and Anyi) and located in Wuning.

People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded (A.D. 1 949 65438+1Oct1), and the people of Wuning County were established in Wuning, belonging to Jiujiang area.

1955 In March, the county people's committee was renamed as the county people's committee.

1June, 968, the county revolutionary Committee was established.

In March of A.D. 198 1, the county people were founded.

199365438+13, Shimenlou Township, Luxi Township, Chuantan Township and Quankou Township were abolished, and Shimenlou Town, Luxi Town, Chuantan Town and Quankou Town were established (Reply No.3 of Gan Min Zi [1993]).

1February 3, 1997, Wuning County Agricultural Institute was restructured, and together with Huapeng, Chaping, Shi Jian, Wu 'an, Yuankou, Peng Shu, Tonglin Administrative Village and Experimental Field transferred from Huangduan Town, Heather Township was established.

It governs 8 towns and 16 townships.

In June 2002, 65438+1October 1 1, Yishan Township was revoked and transferred to Songxi Township; Nanyue Township was revoked and placed under Chuantan Town.

On July 16, 2002, Songxi Township was abolished and Songxi Town was established.

By the end of 2002, Wuning County had an area of 3,507 square kilometers and a population of 345,000, including 45,000 non-agricultural people.

It governs 9 towns, 13 townships, 9 neighborhood committees and 254 administrative villages.

County * * * is in Xinning Town.

In June, 2003, 5438+1October, 65438+1October, Huangduan Town, Yangyan Township and Heather Township were abolished, and the organizational system was placed under the jurisdiction of Xinning Town.

By the end of 2003, it had jurisdiction over 8 towns, 1 1 township.

In 20 13, the administrative division of Wuning County was adjusted, and Xinning Town was divided into Yuning Sub-district Office and Xinning Town.
