The College of History and Tourism Culture is the most potential college of Shanxi Normal University. There are two undergraduate majors: history education and tourism management, a national master's degree in history and a national major in the Ministry of Education. At present, there are Sanjin Cultural Research Institute, Jin Xue Research Center, Asian-African Developing Countries Research Institute, Urban and Urbanization Research Institute and other research institutions. "Asian Regional Development Research Center" is a key research base of humanities and social sciences in Shanxi Province, and "Iran Research Center" is established in cooperation with Iranian Embassy in China. He has undertaken 12 projects of the state and the Ministry of Education, 2 projects of the New Century Excellent Talents Fund of the Ministry of Education, 24 provincial and ministerial projects, 4 provincial and ministerial awards, published 18 works and more than 60 papers. It is one of the key construction disciplines in our school, and its research and teaching work is among the best in the school.
