Meixian area later became a very dense and culturally developed Hakka area and bridgehead, and many Hakkas migrated from here to many areas, such as Huizhou and Shenzhen. The buildings are mainly in Dongjiang area, not Meixian area. That is to say, Hakka wai houses in Dongjiang area of Heyuan retain the style of the central plains mansion, and combined with other influences, it is a kind of building with square characteristics, mostly with attic and artillery building, and mostly with Hakka architecture combining the basic pattern of geomantic omen. Then the Hakka buildings in Meizhou are mostly semicircle with arc behind the flower terrace (the enclosed houses behind the flower terrace in Heyuan are mostly square). The architecture is dominated by the basic pattern of Hakka, with little change, mostly two doors and three halls. The decoration style is similar to that in Minnan and Chaoshan areas, and it is more detailed, while the enclosed houses in Heyuan and Jiangxi are more extensive.

Therefore, Meixian area, together with xingning city and Wuhua counties behind it, is Meizhou area, forming Fujian earth building, semi-circular paddock, square paddock, square paddock with corner building, semi-circular paddock with corner building, or combined paddock with corner building or square circle.
