The Historical Evolution of Shipantun Township
Formerly known as qi There are two versions of the origin of the name Shipantun. One version is that Yue Fei and his mother drifted here in a stone urn in the Song Dynasty. After being rescued, they put the stone urn on a rock in Grandpa Ge Temple in the northwest Zhaijiao, hence the name Shipantun. Another way of saying this is that the Ming Dynasty stationed troops here for a long time, so it was named Shipantun. Shipantun Township was built in 1957, changed from 1958 to commune, and changed from 1984 to township. 1997, with an area of 44.3 square kilometers and a population of 29,000, governs Shipantun South Street, Shipantun East Street, Shipantun West Street, Shi Weng, Zhao Gu, Kangzhuang, huzhuang, Fan Zhuang, Xuzhuang, Huang Zhuang, Zhao Lin, Yanglin, Niu Lin, Nanyang Village, Nanzhao, Beiyangcun and Sangzhuang.
