In which province of China is Langya Mountain located?
Langya Mountain is located at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain in the west of Yixian County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. It belongs to Taihang Mountain range, 45 kilometers away from the county seat. It is named after its strange peaks, towering and steep, and shaped like spikes.

More than 70 years ago, the Five Heroes of Langya Mountain leapt to the top, which was fixed in the history of the great Chinese nation War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. On September 25th, 194 1 Japanese puppet troops besieged the Langya Mountain area in southwest yi county in an attempt to annihilate the Eighth Route Army and local party and government organs in this area. Class 7, Company 6 of the First Military Division of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region 1 Regiment was ordered to cover the safe transfer of large troops and the masses in the Langyashan area.

They repelled the Japanese and Puppet attacks many times and led the enemy to the top of Langya Mountain. Finally, these five people jumped off the cliff in exhaustion and wrote magnificent poems with their lives and blood.

"Five Strong Men of Langya Mountain" refers to the five strong men of the Eighth Route Army who fought bravely against the Japanese puppet Manchukuo army in the Battle of Langya Mountain in Yixian County, Baoding City, Hebei Province during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. They are Ma Baoyu, Ge Zhenlin, Song Xueyi, Hu Delin and Hu Fucai. They wrote a magnificent poem with life and blood.

The feats of the five soldiers showed lofty patriotism, revolutionary heroism and unyielding national integrity, and were praised by the people as "the five strong men of Langya Mountain".

In order to commemorate and commend the five anti-Japanese heroes, the local revolutionary government built a memorial tower at the main peak of Qipaituo. After the founding of New China, the heroic deeds of the Five Heroes of Langya Mountain were included in primary school textbooks.
