Laozi, also known as Lao Dan and Li Er, was a great philosopher, thinker and founder of Taoist school in ancient China. Later, he was named the old gentleman of the Forbidden City by Emperor Wu of the Tang Dynasty, a world cultural celebrity and one of the top 100 historical celebrities in the world. He has the classic Tao Te Ching (also known as Laozi). The essence of his works is a simple dialectical method, which advocates inaction. Zhuangzi was a great thinker, philosopher and writer in the pre-Qin period. During the Warring States Period, Song Guomeng (now Mengcheng County, Anhui Province) was the main founder of Taoism.
