"Kaiyuan" was the title of the reign of Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, more than 1300 years ago. The 290-year-long Biography of Emperor Taizong's Twenty Emperors and Twenty-five Emperors not only left us nearly 50,000 Tang poems, but also created the historical glory of "Kaiyuan Shengshi". In this ancient cave, which has been formed for more than 200,000 years, there are not only magnificent natural scenery, but also precious cultural relics since the Neolithic Age, especially stalactites and relics in Kaiyuan Cave. Malanyu is located in the south of Gaodong Village, Yolanda Town, across the Hezi River from Gaodong Village. The valley is in the southeast and the mouth of the valley faces north. It is about 3 kilometers long and covers an area of about 45 hectares. The top of the valley is called Dading, and there is a natural cave on the mountainside of the east slope of the valley called "Wolf's Nest". Walking along the "Wolf's Nest" for more than 200 meters, there is a place called "basket cover" on the bluestone board, a horseshoe-shaped stone pit, and a rectangular stone trough on the nearby hill called the horse drinking trough. According to legend, Malan Valley was called Malan Valley in ancient times, and Li Shimin, the king of Tang Dynasty, used it as a racetrack during his crusade. The entrance to Malan Valley is very narrow, and the dangerous cliff stands high, so only one person can ride in it. The surrounding mountains are covered with trees, so it should be worthy of the name. It is said that thousands of troops have been seen entering the valley, but there are no houses in the valley, and people don't know where to live, so some people speculate that there is a secret cave where soldiers are hidden.

There is a grotto on the mountain to the east of Malanyu. In summer, there are always clouds rising from the mouth of the cave after rain, so they are called "cloud caves" by local people. Someone throws a big stone into the hole, and you can hear the rolling sound of "sparse inside" in a few minutes. Everyone knows that this cave is unfathomable. Until 1993, no one could tell what was inside. 1On April 22nd, 993, two young people in Gaodong Village, Zhang Yiqiang and Zhang Decheng, climbed down a rope out of curiosity, and the magical and magnificent Kaiyuan Cave was unveiled.

This cave has been formed for more than 200,000 years, which contains not only magnificent natural landscapes, but also precious cultural relics since the Neolithic Age. In particular, the stalactite carvings and relics in caves in the Kaiyuan period are reminiscent of the historical glory of Kaiyuan Shi Sheng.
