The Historical Evolution of Tiandong County
Before the Qin Dynasty, Tiandong County now belonged to Baiyue (Guangdong).

In the third year of Emperor Qin Shihuang (2 14 BC), Yueyang briefly designated Guilin, Nanhai and Xiang Jun. Today's Tiandong County belongs to Guilin County and Xiang County.

In the sixth year of Han Dynasty (1 1 1), Qin Guilin County was changed to Yulin County, and most of Tiandong County now belongs to Zengshi County of Yulin County. Until the Western Jin Dynasty.

In the second year of Jianwu in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (3 13), Jinxing County was located in Yulin County. Today, most of Tiandong County belongs to Zengyi County in Jinxing County. It was because of it in the Northern and Southern Dynasties.

In the 14th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (594), Jinxing County was abolished and Xuanhua County was changed in the 18th year. Today, most areas of Tiandong County belong to Jinxing County and Xuanhua County successively.

In the fifth year of Tang Wude (622), Xuanhua County was divided into Wuyuan County, Hengshan County, Jinxing County and Langning County, and Tiandong County was established in Hengshan County, which was the beginning of the county establishment in this area. In Lanning County of Liliangfu, Tianzhou was set up in western Guangxi in the first year of Tang Dynasty (7 13-74 1), which governed Dujiu (now Pingguo County), Hengshan (now Tiandong County), Wulong (now Tianyang County and Baise City) and Kei Megumi (now Baise City). In the first year of Tianbao, Tianzhou was changed to Hengshan County, and most of Tiandong County belonged to Hengshan County. In the first year of Gan Yuan (758), Hengshan County was renamed Tianzhou, and Hengshan County was abolished. Today, Tiandong County belongs to Tianzhou. In the 21st year of Zhenyuan (805), Tianzhou was abandoned and later restored.

In the Tang Dynasty, in addition to setting up Hengshan County in the present Tiandong County, there were also two states called Houzhou (now Dengyao Township) and Gongraozhou (now Lin Si Town). In the Song Dynasty, there were Tuzhou, Gongrao, Houtang, Qiu Feng, Shanglong, Wu Xiang and Shanglin counties in this Tiandong county, and military administrative units were also set up.

The Hengshanzhai was abandoned in the Yuan Dynasty, and there are three military and civilian headquarters in western Guangxi, such as Tianzhou Road, Lai 'an Road and Zhen 'an Road, all of which belong to Huguangxing Zhongshu Province.

In the Ming Dynasty, Tianzhou Tuzhou and Xiangwu Tuzhou moved to Tianyang County and Tiandeng successively, and Shanglong Prefecture was abandoned because Tusi moved to Dateng Gorge. During Hongzhi's reign, Xialong House was changed to the Land Inspection Office. By the end of the Ming Dynasty, only Shanglin County was the county where Tiandong County kept its seat.

From the early Qing Dynasty to the thirteenth year of Tongzhi (1874), the construction situation was the same as that in the late Ming Dynasty. In the first year of Guangxu (1875), Tianzhou was changed into a stream, and Enlong County was set east of Tiandong today, which was placed under Baise Zhili Hall.

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Baise Zhili Hall was changed to Baise House. Today, most of Tiandong County belongs to Enlong County, and the rest belong to Shanglintu County, Xiangwutu District and Fengyi County. Enlong County and Shanglintu County are all under Baise area.

In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Baise House was abolished and Tiannan Road was established, and Enlong County and Shanglintu County were under the jurisdiction of Guitian South Road.

In the 4th year of the Republic of China (19 15), Du 'an County was established, and Enlong County transferred its Dahua District to Du 'an County.

In the 6th year of the Republic of China (19 17), Wudu prefecture was abolished and Du Xiang county was established. Yincha Town and Jiangcheng Town are under the jurisdiction of Du Xian County.

In the 7th year of the Republic of China (19 18), Shanglintu County was changed to Liuxiang, which was located in Lin Si County, one of the two capitals of Li En under the jurisdiction of Shanglitu County and Enlong County, as well as the whole territory of Yangbantu in Shangtian and Tusi in Wang Xia. At this point, the easternmost territory of Enlong County is Shangmei Village in Jiangnan Township (now Pingguo County), the southernmost is still the north bank of Youjiang River, the westernmost is He Kun Village in Eqiao Township (now Tianyang County), and the northernmost is Fulu Village in Bapin Township (now Bama Yao Autonomous County), with a total area of 5,547 square kilometers, equivalent to 8,320,875 mu. It continued until Enlong County was revoked and Tiandong County was established.

In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), according to the case of Tiannan County Boundary Arrangement passed by the provincial government, Lin Si County was revoked, and Enlong County was renamed as Tiandong County. Baocheng, Zhu Mei and Yangxiu, which originally belonged to Lin Si County, belong to Tiandong County, while Wang Hui, Haicheng, Pingzhi, Zhongshan, Yule, Gumei, Feng Wu and Yuhuan belong to Pingzhi County. Datong (except Qifu Street), Jingdezhen, Zhenjiang and Jiangnan in Chongen District of Enlong County are allocated to Pingzhi County, and Luoxian, Lingqi, Rende, Qianggui, Hongdu, Bapin, Le Yan, Qiao Feng and Eqiao in Longyi District are allocated to Wan Gang County. Most of Lunwei Township, Mutao Township, Ren 'an Township, Maping Township, Tanhe Township, Zuodeng Township, Bali Township and Dalan Township in the former Fengyi County belong to Tiandong County.

After liberation, the governance of Tiandong County remained unchanged. Things have changed.

1950 in may, tiandong county people's government organized 2 1 townships (towns) that took over the old regime into seven districts, abolished townships (towns) and kept villages (streets).

195 1 August, Guangxi provincial government adjusted its administrative divisions and cancelled Wangang county. The fifth district (Natao District), the sixth district (Rose District) and eight villages (Yandong, Rowen, Lyman, Longtian, Hongwan, Xinli, Zimao and Yanting) originally belonged to Wan Gang County were placed under Tiandong County.

1953, the former gancha district of Zhendu County and the three townships of Shuang Yan, Naya and Mafeng were assigned to Tiandong. So far, the county has jurisdiction over 1 1 district, 1 town, 142 township.

1955, Tuohongtun, a new town in the sixth district of Tian Yang, was placed under the jurisdiction of Baoli Township, Tiandong County.

1956 10, Bama Yao Autonomous County was established. Tiandong County transferred two districts of Natao and Rose and eight townships of Yandong, Rowen, Lyman, Longtian, Hongwan, Xinli, Zimao and Yanting in Ban Long District to Bama County, and at the same time abolished Ban Long District. In the same year, Mengping Township, Liming District, Pingguo County assigned the first, fifth, sixth and seventh films to Tiandong County.

1959, peaceful people's commune was divided into Ma Ping Town Commune and Heheng Commune (1960, Heheng Commune was renamed Berlin Commune, also known as Bahrain Commune), and Pioneer People's Commune was renamed Liang Shuo Commune. The county governs 9 communes.

196 1 year, Pingguo County transferred three brigades of Haicheng Commune to Tiandong County. In June of the same year, Ma Ping Commune resumed the town organizational system and formed the Ma Ping Town Government. The other eight communes are further divided into 24 small communes and 24 communes under the jurisdiction of county 1 town.

1962 Pingguo County assigned two brigades of Guoheng Public Society in Guohua District to Tiandong County. At this point, the jurisdiction of Tiandong County has been stable to this day. 1968 in March, the district (town) revolutionary committee was established, replacing the functions and powers of the district commune management committee and the town people's government.

During this period, nine villages and towns, such as Xiangzhou, Fung Lam, Liang Shuo, Jiangcheng, Prayer, Deploying Soldiers, Yincha, Na Ba and Yiwei, successively withdrew their villages and built towns, and Ma Ping Town changed the original neighborhood committees into community committees.

In 2000, Tiandong County administered 9 towns and 3 townships 1 ethnic townships.

In 2005, Bubing Town, Qifu Town and Potang Township were abolished and merged into Xiangzhou Town, LAM Raymond Town and Lin Si Town respectively.

In 2008, Tiandong County had jurisdiction over 9 towns, namely Ma Ping Town, Xiangzhou Town, LAM Raymond Town, Lin Si Town, Zuodeng Yao Township, Liangshuo Town, Yincha Town, Jiangcheng Town, Yiwei Town and Na Ba Town, 1 town. The county has 160 village committees, 1 street committees, and 5 communities (ancient city community, cultural and educational community, oil city community, square community and Xicheng community) with a population of 393,800, including 334,800 in rural areas. There are Zhuang, Han and Yao nationalities living there.
