About 2000 years ago

In ancient times, Dalian was located at the bottom of the sea. About 70,000 years ago, the sea level dropped by more than 50 meters, and Dalian, the Korean Peninsula and the Shandong Peninsula emerged from the sea, forming the new continent "Jiaoliao Ancient Land". About 30,000 years ago, the sea level dropped again 1.4 meters, and the Japanese archipelago was connected with the Jiaoliao ancient land. In the Neolithic Age, the ancestors of the tribe in the Qing Dynasty who lived in Zhuxiaoshan, Guanglu Island, Changhai County changed from hunters to fishermen, and spread all over Changhai, Ganjingzi, Lushunkou, Anbo Town of Pulandian, Changxing Island of Wafangdian and Heidao Town of Zhuanghe. One of the ancestors, led by its leader Pan Geng, merged with the Yi people in Shandong Peninsula and moved to Anyang, Henan Province in the 4th century, and established the Yin Dynasty.

In the late Shang Dynasty, a large number of stone sheds and burial utensils appeared in Liaodong Peninsula, reflecting that local ancestors made a living by fishing and collecting shellfish and gradually turned to agriculture and animal husbandry.

During the Spring and Autumn Period, the bronze culture in Dalian became increasingly prosperous, and its representative work was the bronze machete dagger. In 685 BC, in order to develop Liaodong, he immigrated to Liaodong in batches, during which Qi sent troops to attack Shanrong to save Yan. In the sixth year of Gong Ling (567 BC), the State of Qi destroyed Lai (now Jiaodong). After the defeat, Lai fled across the sea and moved to Liaodong Peninsula and Dalian on a large scale. In addition, residents in the lower reaches of the Yellow River also took refuge in Liaodong along the above route during the war and famine. In addition to bronze daggers, bronze chisels, axes, knives, spears, mirrors and pottery were unearthed in Dalian during the Western Weekend and Spring and Autumn Period, which was the basis of the immigration tide at that time.

Jin refers to the Western Jin Dynasty ruled by Sima family of Han people, Yan refers to the former Yan ruled by Murong family of Xianbei people, and Qin refers to the former Qin ruled by Yan family.

500 ~ 1000 years

When the mainland was ruled by the Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Sui Dynasty, Dalian was in the Goguryeo era ruled by Fuyu people for a long time. In the early Tang Dynasty, Dalian belonged to the administrative area of Lijifu, the capital of Anton. Dalian was called "Sanshanpu" in the Tang Dynasty.

1000 ~ 1500 years

During the Liao Dynasty, Dalian was under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang Prefecture in Tokyo. The Liao State established Suzhou and Fuzhou. Jin changed Suzhou to Jinzhou. Yuan set up Wanfu House in Jinfuzhou. Ming dynasty established Jinzhou Wei. Empty the Golden State Hall. 1897, a Russian designer came to Dalian with the urban construction drawings of Paris, France, and wanted to build another city based on the square here, and named him "Darini", which means "a distant city", a place far away from the Russian capital. 1905 (Meiji 38), the Japanese army occupied the city and changed "Dane" to "Dalian". Dalian, Guandong County, Japan, was born in Meiji era, experienced Taisho era and died in Showa era. 1945, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression won, Dalian was internationalized according to Yalta Treaty, and Soviet troops entered. 1955, the Soviet army handed over Lvda to People's Republic of China (PRC) (PRC) for management.

2000 ~

On 2011August 14, a public protest movement against the chemical project of paraxylene (PX for short) took place in Dalian. Japanese media reported that the demonstration was attended by about1.2000 people, which was the largest protest demonstration in northern China after the April 6 incident, and the number of participants exceeded the scale of similar incidents in China in recent years. This incident prompted the Dalian Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Dalian Municipal People's Government to make a decision on the same day to immediately stop production and relocate the Fujia Dahua PX project. On the night of the demonstration, a large number of armed police were sent to disperse the demonstrators.
