Liuzhou
Liuzhou, located in the middle of Guangxi Province, is an ancient city with a history of more than 265,438+000 years.
According to archaeological excavations, Liujiang people lived here in the late Paleolithic period. In the sixth year of Emperor Gaozu's Ding Yuan (BC 165438+ BC 0 1), all the cities were built here, and they were named Tanzhong. In the eighth year of Zhenguan of Emperor Taizong (AD 634), it was renamed Liuzhou, and in the first year of Tianbao of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (AD 742), Longcheng County was established here.
Liujiang River flows back around Liuzhou, and the city center on the north shore is surrounded by water on three sides, forming a huge "U" shape. Ancient books called it "the confluence of four rivers, holding the city like a pot", so it was also called "pot city", and some people described it as "a huge natural bonsai". There are many strange peaks made of limestone inside and outside Liuzhou, which are rich in tourism resources and natural landscape. Moreover, Liuzhou has a mild climate and evergreen seasons, which is very suitable for traveling at any time.
Sanjiang dongzu town
Drive 200 kilometers from Liuzhou to the north and enter Sanjiang Dong Township, which is located in the adjacent areas of Hunan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. There will be many folk houses and wooden buildings with ethnic characteristics along the river, which is to retain the complete Dong township, full of traditional folk culture and mystery, which is desirable.
Sanjiang County is dominated by low mountains and hills, which belongs to the extension of Xuefeng Mountain, Yuechengling Mountain and Miaoling Mountain in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The mountains in the county are green and winding. The main ethnic group living here is Dong, accounting for 53.6% of the county's population. Because the Dong compatriots' clothing, food, shelter and transportation all have very prominent and distinctive national characteristics, coupled with the magical and beautiful natural scenery and colorful traditional festivals in Dong township, Sanjiang has become a hot spot of ethnic customs and scenic tourism in central Guangxi.
Visitors to Sanjiang can enjoy Chengyang Yufeng Bridge, which is a national treasure with unique architectural art and world-famous architecture, the caravan drum tower and the rural dwellings of the Dong nationality, appreciate the simple ancient customs of the Dong family and participate in large-scale traditional ethnic festivals.
Rongshuimiaozu village
Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is located in the north of Guangxi with convenient transportation. Liu Zhi Railway passes through the territory, and the highway runs from the county seat to Liuzhou118km and to Guilin168km. Water transport can go directly to Liuzhou and Guangzhou. Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han nationalities live in the territory.
Rongshuimiao Mountain is picturesque, with majestic Yuanbaoshan, vast forests, waterfalls, deep pools and secluded caves. The clear Beijiang River is accompanied by the "Beijiang Hong Fei"-Tiesuo Bridge and Shouxingyan Temple.
Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is rich in ethnic customs: colorful Lusheng stepping on the hall dance, Mungo dance, drum pulling, toast dance, horse racing, Touma bird shooting and so on are little known.
Liuzongyuan memorial hall
Liu Hou Temple, formerly known as Luochi Temple, is located in the west corner of Liu Hou Park in the center of Liuzhou. It is a mausoleum built by Liuzhou people to commemorate Liu Zongyuan, a famous politician, thinker and writer in Tang Dynasty.
Liu Zongyuan was born in Hedong (now Yuxiang Town, yongji city City, Shanxi Province) in the Tang Dynasty. He used to be the foreign minister of the Ministry of Rites, but he was demoted because he failed to participate in the political reform. Living in Liuzhou (AD 8 15-8 19) in his later years, he did many things beneficial to the people. Three years after his death in Liuzhou, the local people built the Luochi Temple to worship him. At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, he was named "Wen Huihou" in posthumous title, Song Huizong, and the ancestral hall was renamed "Liu Hou Temple".
The present Liu Hou Temple was rebuilt according to the architecture of Qing Dynasty. There are many cultural relics and historical materials on display in the temple, reflecting Liu Zongyuan's life and achievements.
Transportation: Bus No.2 and No.6 can be taken in the city.
