How to use spss to analyze the difference between two classes and the change of one class's performance in different exams?
1. First open the SPSS software, select Open-File-Data in the toolbar, and select the data table to open.

2. Then, in the open toolbar, find the analysis-description statistics-crosstab, as shown in the figure below.

3. Then put the row and column related variables into the corresponding dialog box.

4. Click Statistics in the function bar on the right side of the dialog box, and then select Chi-square test and correlation. The crosstab is chi-square analysis.

5. Then continue to click the cell in the function bar on the right to check the expected value.

6. Finally, click OK to see the statistical results of cross table and chi-square analysis. If the chi-square value is greater than 0.05, there is a significant difference, which means there is no statistical significance.
