Daan City is a county-level city managed by Baicheng City, Jilin Province, located in the northwest of Jilin Province, facing Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province across the river in the east, bordering taonan city and Tongyu County in the west, Songyuan City in the south and Taoer River in Zhenlai County in the north. Evolution of Daan city construction
In ancient times, Da 'an was a sacred place for ethnic nomadic people to fish and hunt. According to historical records, villages began to form in the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), and the residents took fishing as their profession, and market towns appeared. In the 29th year of Guangxu (1903), the "New Deal" promulgated by the Qing government began to be implemented, allowing and encouraging Han people to move to Tiqi, and a large number of Han people moved to Da 'an to reclaim land. In the 31st year of Guangxu (1905), in June of 14, the hall directly under the Dalai Lama was established. In September of the 31st year of Guangxu (1905), Anguang County was established.
In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), the church directly under the Dalai Lama was changed to Dalai County. At the end of the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), the Dalai Lama and An Guang belonged to Longjiang province. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), An Guang County Government moved to Anguang Town.
