By default, the browser will automatically save the records of the websites you said you visited. However, for some reason, the system no longer saves the history. You can set it yourself. Specifically, don't set the number of days to save the Inter option (menu bar-Tools)-General-Browser History Settings-History page to 0.

Then open the favorites bar and switch to the normal view of history (you can also use the shortcut key Ctrl+H).

When the search box prompt is displayed, the browser's search box history prompt function is blocked by default.

If you want to restore the history prompt function of the browser's search box, please select whether to display the search box prompt when searching pinyin and whether to display the search box prompt when searching Chinese characters from the Search Box Prompt set on the right side of the search box.

By default, the search box prompt will be displayed in the search box at the top of Baidu homepage and search results page.

If you don't want to display the prompt of the search box, you can click the "Close" link in the lower right corner of the prompt box, and then just restart the browser and open it again.

You can also select "Don't Show" in the "Search box prompt" set on the right side of the search box to permanently turn off the search box prompt function.

No matter how to close the search box prompt, you can choose "Display" in the "Search box prompt" set on the right side of the search box to reopen it.
