The Origin of Jiudu Road in Luoyang
Jiudu Road in Luoyang is named after "the ancient capital of nine dynasties" (nine has many meanings, but it is actually thirteen dynasties). By inquiring about public comments, we know that the origin of Jiudu Road can be traced back to the Qianlong period. The couplet on the gate of Yufeng Songyang Academy reads: "It is close to the four directions, but the central government, Tongtaihua is horizontal, and the Sisaiguan River arches the holy mountain; In the nine dynasties, it was a metropolis, including Luojian River and three stormy mountains. " Thus, Luoyang is known as the "ancient capital of nine dynasties". Because of the frequent traffic jams on this road, it is gradually called "long-term traffic jam" by the people. Jiudu Road, located in Luoyang City, Henan Province, is an east-west urban road in Luoyang City, which consists of three sections: Jiudu East Road, Jiudu Middle Road and Jiudu West Road.
