Historical Evolution of Louxing District
Louxing District belonged to Jingzhou area in ancient times.

During the Warring States period, it belonged to Chu.

The Qin Dynasty belongs to Xiangnan County.

In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC), it belonged to Liandao.

Song Yong in the Southern Dynasty (AD 422) belonged to Xiangxiang County.

1960 On February 3rd, with the approval of Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, 24 production brigades of Loudi People's Commune, Xiaobi People's Commune 18 Production Brigade, Shuidongdi People's Commune, Wanbao People's Commune, and Dutoutang People's Commune 13 Production Brigade were separated from Lianyuan County. Loudi District governs 9 communes, 186 production brigade, Loudi Town governs 13 production brigade and 4 communities. 1968 In September, the district office was renamed as the District Revolutionary Leading Group, and the Commune Town Management Committee was renamed as the Commune Town Revolutionary Committee. Loudi District was revoked in June 5438+10. People's commune merged, Loudi town remained unchanged. In June 1969 1 1, Loudi District was resumed in Lianyuan County. Loudi Town belongs to the same jurisdiction.

1On July 5th, 980, the State Council approved the restoration of Loudi organizational system, and transferred the five production brigades of Fangshan, Shuiyang, Fu Min, Dongfeng and Sitang belonging to the Western People's Commune and Loudi area to Loudi. The administrative divisions of the city are 2 people's communes, 3 streets, 37 production brigades, 373 production teams, 19 communities and 267 residents' groups.

On March 26th 1983, the State Council issued a document, which classified Loudi City as Xiangtan City and renamed it Loudi District (county level, not implemented). In July 13, the original organizational system was restored from Xiangtan.

1March, 1984, the commune system with the integration of politics and society was changed, and the commune management Committee was changed to the township people's government. In 2000, Louxing District governed 4 streets, 3 towns and 7 townships.

In April 2003, seven villages in Xiyang Town, Lianbin Township and Shanshan Town, Louxing District, and two communities in Huashan Street and Huangnitang Street were entrusted to the Municipal Economic and Technological Development Zone for management. The scope of this adjustment is as follows: Xiyang Town, three villages of Xianrenqiao, Fu Min and Maotang in Lianbin Township, four villages of Gaoche, Taibao, Clarification and Jiulun in Shanshan Town, Shinan Community in Huashan Street and Xianrenge Community in Huangnitang Street are all included in the Development Zone, and entrusted to the Party Committee and Management Committee of the Development Zone for unified management.

In 2003, Dake Township, Lianbin Township and Xiyang Town were abolished, and three streets of Dake, Lianbin and Dabuqiao were established between the two towns (1) and the four villages demarcated by Shanshan Town. The original four streets of Huashan, Leping, Huangnitang and Changqing have also been adjusted accordingly. At the same time, adjust the original community and form a community. After adjustment, there are 52 communities in Louxing District.

In 2004, it administered 4 townships, 3 towns and 7 streets, with a total of 162 villages and 53 communities, including 2 streets of Lianbin and Dabuqiao, with a total of 7 villages and 14 communities, which was entrusted by the municipal government to be managed by the Municipal Economic and Technological Development Zone.
