This year's No.8 typhoon "Bawei" was centered on the southern Yellow Sea about 680 kilometers south of the border between China and North Korea at today 15, and the maximum wind force near the center was 14. It is estimated that "Bawei" will move to the north at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. It is expected that there will be moderate rain and partial heavy rain in our city from this afternoon to night, with the north wind at 7-4-5 and the northern sea area at 6-7-8-9.
Before the typhoon comes, you need to make the following preparations:
1. Listen, watch or check typhoon warning information online in time;
2. Close the doors and windows and fasten the structures that are easily blown by the wind;
3. Move from a dilapidated house to a safe place;
4. People in low-lying areas that may be flooded should be transferred in time;
5. Check whether the facilities such as circuits, fire fighting and gas are safe;
6. Kindergartens and schools should take temporary avoidance measures and suspend classes when necessary;
7. Open-air collective activities or indoor large-scale gatherings should be cancelled in time to do a good job of evacuation;
8. Don't travel to the area where the typhoon passes or swim on the beach, let alone go out to sea by boat.
How to avoid danger when the typhoon comes?
1. Try not to go out;
2. If you are outdoors, don't take shelter from the wind and rain near temporary buildings, billboards, iron towers and trees.
3. If you are driving, you should immediately drive to the underground parking lot or shelter;
4. If you are on the water, you should immediately go ashore to avoid the wind and rain;
5. If you are already in a solid house, close the window carefully and stick a "meter" on the window glass with tape to prevent the window glass from breaking;
6. If there is typhoon and thunder, lightning protection measures should be taken.
