Henan Huaiyang Fuxi Temple Taihaoling Ancestral Temple

The small town of Huaiyang is famous for the kindness of its ancestor Fuxi. It is said that Fuxi is not only the King of Huaiyang, but also buried here. His mausoleum and palace-style mausoleum temple are grand in scale and momentum. For thousands of years, many dignitaries and poets have come here from all directions for sightseeing or pilgrimage. Therefore, Huaiyang has also become mysterious. Huaiyang is located in the hinterland of Huanghuai Plain in the east of Henan Province, which was called Wanqiu in ancient times, also known as Chen. The legendary "Huang San", that is, Fu, Fu, Nu Wa and Shen Nong successively established their capitals here. For more than 6000 years, the descendants of Emperor Xi lived, multiplied, worked and fought in this hot land. They created the splendid culture of China here, making it a glorious historical beacon. Fuxi is here to "make a net, change his surname, ask for marriage, draw gossip, and play the lute"; Here, Nu Wa "made man out of soil" and gave birth to human beings. Huaiyang is a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province.

Wanqiu, the site of Tai Hao, is located in the southeast corner of Zhu Zhuang, four kilometers southeast of Huaiyang City. 1988 was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit. This place is recorded in many history books. Some people say that this may be the Longdu of Fuxi tribe. Archaeologists have excavated more than 200 Chu-Han tombs here, and unearthed thousands of precious cultural relics such as the sword of the King of Yue. Through the study of unearthed cultural relics, it is preliminarily determined that the legend of Taihao Fuxi is a historical fact.

Flower terrace: Located on the lakeside of the city, one mile southeast of Xiling. It covers about ten acres. Surrounded by water, the platform is about two meters above the water. There is a white turtle pond in front of the stage. The stage is tall and straight, with lush foliage. Whenever there are several stars in the bright moon, the lake is bright and golden, and cranes sing like fairyland. Its artistic conception is as quiet and mysterious as Fuxi's story of painting hexagrams.

Fuxi Mausoleum of Taihao: Located on the north bank of Caihe River at the north of Huaiyang City 1.5km, it echoes the 10,000-mu Hucheng Lake. Xiling is 750 meters long and has a total construction area of 875 mu. It is divided into three parts: inner city, outer city and Forbidden City. The city wall is nine feet high with battlements on it. There are many halls, pavilions, monuments and colorful flowers in the cemetery. The whole building complex, which runs through the central axis perpendicular to the north and south, is magnificent and has its own pattern. From south to north, you can see Wumen, Daiyuqiao, Fuxi Temple 108 Daoyi Gate, Congenital Gate, Taiji Gate, Bell and Drum Tower, Tiantongtang, Renxiantang, Taishimen, Baguatai, Cemetery Gate, Fuxi Mausoleum and Yarrow Garden in turn. If the doors of ten buildings are opened layer by layer, you can look directly at the mausoleum from the meridian gate. This scene is quiet and far-reaching, picturesque, and is called "Ten-door Photography". In the cemetery, Cooper Gu Song and colorful square bricks and ancient stones all seem to imply a long and extraordinary history here.

Dushan Bridge: Dushan Bridge spans the Caihe River and is a simple single arch stone bridge, 25m long, 10m high and1m wide. Locals call it "face bridge". It means a good man who worships his ancestors and believes in women. When he came here, he had already met his ancestors. The saying of "crossing the bridge" is to let the good people go; In other words, no matter who walks through Dushan Bridge and sees the ancestral temple, they will abandon evil and promote good and have good thoughts. Walking down the stone bridge is the first gate of Taihao Mausoleum-Wuchaomen. There are three plaques hanging on the door, namely "Taihao Mausoleum", "Wumen Gate" and "Open Heaven and Stand a Pole". This door has three rooms and three doors, with blue bricks and green tiles, carved beams and painted buildings, and red doors and gold nails. The middle door is nine rows and nine roads, and the two sides are seven rows and nine roads. Taihao Fuxi is the leader of Huang San and the head of a hundred kings, so this temple was established according to the royal regulations. On the central axis of 875 meters, starting from the meridian gate, ten gates were photographed in front of the mausoleum, and nine entered the courtyard. There is a hard mountain-shaped eight-character wall in front of the meridian gate, and the stone lions standing on the left and right are mighty and magnificent, guarding their ancestors. The East Gate and the West Gate, with the same regulations, were built more than 20 meters east and west of Wumaomen. According to historical records, in front of the Wumen Gate, Kowloon stood on the wall, calling for wind and rain, so Huang Xi, the capital, had a bumper harvest every year. After thousands of years, Zhao Bi disappeared. Pass through the meridian gate, pass the Jade Belt Bridge, Yidongmen, Congenital Gate, Taiji Gate and the second floor of the bell and drum in turn. This is the most important building on the central axis of the mausoleum temple-Tiantong Hall. This temple, also known as the "main hall" and "front hall", is the most brilliant one in the whole spiritual hall complex. Its position is in the middle, magnificent, rigorous and imposing. The total area is more than 390 square meters, and the height is 17 meters. Five rooms are wide and three rooms are deep. Glazed tile roof, Longfeng ridge. The roof is beautifully decorated, with three glazed pottery buildings in the middle and a small niche downstairs. The box in the niche is engraved with five characters of "Taihao Fuxi Hall". Sculpture animals on both sides carry gourds and ride warriors for 28 nights. There are many plaques hanging at the main entrance of the temple, such as "Fuxi Cang Jing built Wang Ye first, drew hexagrams and tied ropes to manage the sea", "Like heaven and earth", "The originator of sven" and "One painting opens the sky". The eaves-column couplets in Ming Dynasty are "the third ancestor of Chinese civilization and the first person in Huaiyang Fuxi". The couplet in the temple is "born after heaven and earth, Zhu still can find the holy mark;" Set up the imperial pole, and the white clouds will always protect the spiritual market. "The venting machine is sealed and the items are easy to open; The shape of mountains and rivers is better than the spirit of the Millennium. Placards such as The Ancestor of Human Roots, A China, The Teaching of Human Relations and One School with Ten Thousand Schools have received rave reviews. There is a "Zhangba Shrine" in the temple, with a solemn shape. There are nine patterns engraved on the forehead, such as "Du Late Autumn, netting, raising sacrifices, writing calendars, drawing gossip, getting married, playing the piano and burying Chen". There is an icon of Fuxi Tai Hao family in the niche, with horns on the head, tiger skin on the waist, leaves on the shoulders, gossip in hand, bare feet and abdomen. There is a platform in front of the temple, which is seven stories high and can accommodate thousands of people. There are east-west cloisters and second-floor bells and drums on both sides of the platform. More than 30 meters away from Tiantong Concert Hall is Ren Xian Concert Hall. A dozen meters away from Ren Xian Hall is Taishimen. At the foot of Taishimen, there is an ancient city portal with a high platform and a sleeping hall. The hatchback has steps and corner doors, which can swim around the temple, commonly known as "Zhuixianglou". The plastic Fuxi statue in the sleeping hall is similar in shape to that in Tian Tong Hall. There is a stone tablet in the hall, which was erected by Zheng De in the eighth year of Ming Dynasty, so this building is also called "Imperial Monument Pavilion". Behind the transfer building in the Forbidden City is Fuxi's mausoleum. Pines and cypresses are planted around the mausoleum, and lush white sandalwood is planted on the mausoleum. The mausoleum is more than 20 meters high and has a circumference of 150 meters, symbolizing a round place. There is a huge bluestone tombstone in front of the tomb tree, three feet wide and five feet high. The handwriting is either absent or illegible. According to the records of Huaiyang County Records, this inscription was originally "the tomb of Fuxi family in Taihao". According to legend, during the period of Song Shenzong, when the mausoleum and temple were rebuilt, people wanted to ask Su Shi, a great writer, to write an inscription. However, when he arrived in Fu Su, it happened that Su Shi was out. Su Shi has a brilliant sister, Su Xiaomei, which is recorded in history. When she first came to the study and saw this, she was so excited that she used a contemporary pen with a sweat towel and waved the seven characters "Tomb of Taihao Fuxi". Behind the Xiling is the legendary "Yarrow Garden" with an area of "square 80 paces". According to records, yarrow is a perennial herb of Compositae, with a stem about one meter high, pinnate veins and small white flowers in summer and autumn. The whole plant can be used as medicine, containing aromatic oil, and can be used as seasoning raw materials. It is said that this kind of grass grows in only three places in the country. In addition to Xiling, there are Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province and Jinci Temple in Shaanxi Province to commemorate Zhou Wuwang's second son, Yu Shu. Yarrow has always been regarded as a "spiritual thing" by officials and the public.
