Can be cured at room temperature, has high curing speed, high bonding strength, good toughness and durability of the bonding layer, and is not easy to age.

Characteristics of white latex

Usually referred to as white latex or PVAC emulsion, the chemical name is polyvinyl acetate glue. It is a milky white viscous liquid made by synthesizing vinyl acetate from acetic acid and ethylene and adding titanium dioxide (low-grade powder such as light calcium carbonate and talcum powder). ) and then emulsion polymerization. White latex can be cured at room temperature with high curing speed and high bonding strength. The adhesive layer has good toughness and durability and is not easy to age.

How to use white latex

1. Before using the white latex bonding material, the surface of the material to be bonded must be cleaned first. For example, if there is dirt such as oil, water and dust on the surface of the material, it is necessary to clean the surface of the material with alcohol and other cleaning agents to ensure the cleanliness of the surface of the material. Only when it is dry can it be bonded with white latex.

2. When gluing, if you glue by hand, you need to use a brush to evenly coat the white latex on the surface of one of the materials to be bonded, and then coat the other material to be bonded. After bonding, the two materials are pressed tightly, and the materials can be fixed by clips, adhesive tapes and other things that can fix the two materials. In general, the material can be positioned after pressing for 2 hours. The time for complete curing is 24 hours. (Note: The curing time of glue will be affected by indoor humidity and temperature. If it is used at low temperature and high humidity, the positioning time and complete curing time of white latex will be delayed accordingly. On the contrary, if it is in a dry and ventilated environment, the positioning time and complete curing time of white latex will be shortened. )

3. When using white latex, in order to save cost, it is best not to dilute it with water. Because this will affect the adhesion of white latex.
