Baohe District is located in the south of Hefei, bordering Nanfeihe River in the east, Chaohu Lake in the south, Jinzhai South Road in the west and Huancheng Road in the north. The development of history
Baohe district is dominated by the former suburbs. Hefei 195 1 has two suburbs, 1 1 merged into urban suburbs, 1952 divided into eastern suburbs and western suburbs, and 1955+0 merged into urban suburbs; 1960 changed to shushan district in March and changed to beishi district in June; May 1963, changed to suburb.

The area east of Jinzhai Road, Daoxiang Village, Nanqili Station Street, Xicheng District, and the area east of Jinzhai Road, Changqing Town, the former suburb merged, and it was under the jurisdiction of Changqing Town Government, and the resident of the town government remained unchanged. Chengdong Township Road, Zhougudui and Wulimiao are under the jurisdiction of Luogang Town, Baohe District. After adjustment, Baohe District governs Dawei 1 township, Yixing, Yicheng, Luogang and Changqing, and Chaohu Road, Wuhu Road and Ningguo Road. It covers an area of 23,070 square kilometers and has a population of 334,400, including 220,500 non-agricultural people.
