In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was called Diqu, and in May 195 1 it was renamed as Four Districts, in February 1956 it was renamed as Dixiang, and in June of the same year 1 Dike People's Commune was established, and in June1it was transferred to Mengyin County. 196 1 August assigned to yinan county; May 1983 was renamed as Andy District, and September 1988 was renamed as Andy Town. The town is an old revolutionary base area with a glorious revolutionary tradition. The former site of Shandong Anti-Japanese Military and Political Cadre School (provincial cultural relics protection unit). The Central Sulu-Henan-Anhui Border Region and the Shandong Branch of the Provincial Party Committee are stationed here, and are known as "Little Yan 'an".
