Peace county, which belongs to Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, is located in Jiulianshan District in the northeast of Guangdong Province, on the upper reaches of Dongjiang River and at the border of Guangdong and Jiangxi. In the 13th year of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty (15 18), Wang Shouren, governor of southern Jiangxi, was ordered by the imperial court to establish peace county. Heyuan, also known as Tea City, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. ? Located in the northeast of Guangdong, the middle and upper reaches of Dongjiang River and Hanjiang River, it is located in the "golden channel" connecting Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Historically, Tuocheng was the earliest city in Lingnan, and Zhao Tuo, the king of South Vietnam, was the first Longchuan county magistrate. Heyuan is the earliest area where Hakka people developed Lingnan, the hometown of Ruan Xiaoxian, the first director of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Audit Committee, Xiao Yang, the former dean of the Supreme People's Court, and Wen Rumin, the former director of Peking University Chinese Department. It is the revolutionary base of Dongjiang column and the earliest liberated area in Guangdong.
