Geographical location of Luannan ancient city
The ancient city of Luanzhou is located in Luannan County, Tangshan City. Luannan County is located in the southeast of Tangshan, south of Luanhe River and on the coast of Bohai Sea. Located in the blending zone of Bohai Economic Circle and Beijing-Tianjin Metropolitan Area, it is an important part of Tangshan Bay's "Four Points and One Belt". The county covers an area of 1.27 square kilometers, governs 17 towns (among which Liuzan Town is managed by Caofeidian New District), 1 sub-district office, 594 administrative villages (including 5 villages in Liuzan Town), with a total population of 583,000 and an agricultural population of 497,000.

It has a long history. As early as the Neolithic Age, Luannan was inhabited and multiplied. In the 28th year of Tang Kaiyuan (740), Macheng County was established and located in Macheng Village, Luannan County. The website still exists. This is the earliest county-level organizational system in Luannan County. Luannan County was restored on 1963 after many changes. The county town is one of the four famous towns in JD.COM.

Rich in natural resources. Nanpu Oilfield is mainly located in the south of the county seat, with proven reserves of 654.38+0 billion tons. The proven reserves of iron ore resources are 2 billion tons and the prospective reserves are more than 4 billion tons. Jintong River (North River) is located in the county seat, with a main water surface of 65,438 0.2 square kilometers. It is the only natural water body with large reserves in northern county-level cities.
