Film evaluation

The film does not blindly sell the audience the suffering and misery of the war, but uses a lot of space to explain how each character lives as an ordinary person in the most authentic and unusual way in a special period.

The film's portrayal of ordinary people's daily performance has changed the audience's cold impression of revolutionary historical films, and even children will not have a sense of resistance and rejection. This is the most valuable part of this film. Iron-blooded men, warm-hearted women, revolutionary leaders and ordinary soldiers are the protagonists of the Long March.
