Zhao Gao was by Qin Shihuang's side from the beginning. Even if he broke the law and was reported by the minister, Qin Shihuang spared him, because he was a talented person proficient in law. Later, he became the teacher of Hu Hai, the son of Qin Shihuang. After the death of Qin Shihuang, he joined forces with Lisi to tamper with the testamentary edict, and became Hu Hai II, designed to get rid of Lisi. From then on, he became a prime minister from a tutor and reached the peak of his life.
Zhao Gao, as a eunuch, felt guilty by this means, always worried that the following people would do something bad for him if they refused to accept him, so there was the famous "pointing the deer at the horse" incident. When Zhao Gao met the minister in Hu Hai, he pulled out a deer and said it was a horse, so as to test how many people were willing to be loyal to him. After flashing back and forth, one echoed with other ministers and said, this is a horse. Hu Hai has no confidence in himself, which makes him even more suspicious.
Zhao Gao colluded with Cure too much to continue to fool Hu Hai, on the grounds that he was not sincere in offering sacrifices to others. The silly Hu Hai was really fooled by Zhao Gao and Cure too much. Hu Hai did go to sacrifice, and Zhao Gao killed the ministers who insisted on getting on the horse one by one in this gap. Finally, Hu Hai was forced to commit suicide by Zhao Gao's confidant. Hu Hai inherited the tyranny of Qin Shihuang, but did not inherit any advantages of Qin Shihuang.
