The History of hua county Flower City
Huadu (formerly Huaxian County) belonged to Panyu in Han Dynasty, Nanhai County in Sui Dynasty and Panyu and Nanhai County in Song Dynasty.

In the 25th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1686), Nanhai and Panyu counties were partially selected. Because the county seat is close to Huashan Mountain, it is named "Huaxian County" and belongs to guangzhou fu, where Hong Xiuquan, the leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement, was born.

During the period of the Republic of China, Hua County was mainly under the direct control of the province.

After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), it successively belonged to Jiangbei District, Zhujiang District, Peyo Administrative District and Foshan District.

April 1960 was designated as a county in Guangzhou.

1June, 993 18, with the approval of the state, the county was withdrawn to set up a city, named "Huadu", which was entrusted to Guangzhou by the provincial people.

On May 2, 20001day, it was approved by the state to withdraw from the city and set up a district, becoming Huadu District of Guangzhou.

Under the spring breeze of reform, Huadu is full of vitality, jumping from an underdeveloped area to an urban area with beautiful scenery, excellent investment environment, prosperous economy and modern scale.
