Learn about history from the media
I don't think we should give up the history teacher and do history from the media. Although teachers are not an iron rice bowl now, they are a very stable profession. And in terms of stability, I don't recommend quitting my job as a history teacher to be a history media. Although having professional knowledge of history is an advantage, we should also consider that there is no huge audience.

It can be said that it is very unwise for a history teacher to resign rashly, because there is still great uncertainty in doing history from the media. Although it is really profitable to do a good job from the media, and it is several times the teacher's salary, if it is not done well, such a loss is great, not only because of the failure of the media, but also because of quitting the job as a history teacher. This kind of consequence depends on whether you can bear it. Whether you can make money does not mean that you have historical knowledge, but that you should first learn from the media and understand its operating mechanism. If you are not fully prepared, you may fail if you rush into this field. So I think I will start with part-time jobs, and send two or three articles a week to see how the trend is before making a decision. And I think that if something is often done as an interest, it is likely that the result will be much better than concentration, because doing it with a strong purpose will be very utilitarian. Once I make a little mistake, I will doubt that I can't do this well and that well. You can wait until you are on the right track to consider whether you want to work full-time from the media. In fact, these are not in a hurry, because knowledge will not disappear with time.
