The historical story of lifting the pavilion
In the Qing Dynasty, the Beijing official Li Lai Yuncheng inspected the people's feelings and passed by the village entrance, which coincided with the villagers' performance of carrying the pavilion, and the women on the pavilion danced in the air like fairies. Li sat in the sedan chair, staring blankly. He thought, I have traveled all over China and have never seen this kind of singing. It's amazing. So I got out of the sedan chair and asked about it. After reading it, I wrote an inscription on a plaque saying, "I have traveled all over the country, and it is a coincidence." I also sent an artist's folding fan inscription "Goddess Descending from Heaven" and an artist's folding fan inscription "Flying Fairy", and put forward the suggestion of lifting the pavilion, that is, a pair of parallel performances, which later developed into multiple performances.
